A notarized translation of a document is a translation by a certified translator whose signature is authenticated by a public notary.

Stages of notarized translation
In practice, translators with a law degree who are also acting notaries are extremely rare. That is why usually the procedure of notarized translation is carried out in several stages:
- A translator of specialized higher education translates the document from/into the required language, making it according to the established sample, and then signs it in the presence of a notary. This signature means that the translator is responsible for the accuracy of the translation of the data contained in the original document. In addition, the translator is obliged to certify that he has the appropriate qualifications by presenting to the notary his diploma of higher education with the translator qualification.
2. Then the notary authenticates the translator’s signature on the completed translation and his qualifications, and also enters the translator’s personal data into the notary register.
